Went out hunting tonight for a little bit. Got another fox and 3 of the fattest coons Ive seen all year. Had a huge boar run out in front of the truck and the only gun I had in reach was my 10/22 so I put as many in him as I could before he got in the woods. On our last stand tragedy struck... As I went to take my first step off the high rack the sling on my new AR broke and my gun fell. It was an awful feeling as it fell followed by the worst crash sound imaginable. Everything looks to be ok but now I have to go check zero before hunting anymore. frown

Big coons and nice fox. How is Scooter?

He's doing good. My wife and I are making the trip to go see him in 10 days! Hope he remembers us.

I dont know, it was on the gun already. Didnt really break, more like the strap slid out of the buckle thing. Either way my gun took one hell of a spill. Cant have nothin' nice... mad

Did you call the coons in? If so, what sound were you using?

Yep I called em down out of the top of a tree with the sound of 22 LR shots. rifle
Seriously though, I havent got one to come to the call in awhile. These were just in the wrong tree at the wrong time.
