I am putting together a hunt for the compnay that I work for. I am looking for a first class location. Would like the location to have first class service with food/lodging and afternoon activities. This location will also need to be able to host 25 people. I have a few locations in AR that we have been to but we would like to keep it local to Dallas or Houston next year. Can any of you guys recomend anyone.

For what kind of game? Dove, ducks, geese? We go to http://www.krro.net/ for dove hunts but they also can do geese/ducks (think Ranger Creek uses their facilities for lodge if a large group). 3.5 hours from Dallas near Albany/Haskell. They have access to tens of thousands of acres for all game though and two lodges that sleep 30 to 40 each and been doing this a long time so it is a first class operation. I have heard some other places out there that are popular do not offer a first class operations as they might make you believe. This place caters to the client.

Closer to Dallas you have Rough Creek Lodge which is probably the nicest in Texas. (quail/fishing cha ching but no migratory even if they say dove it stinks there!)

Greystone Castle

There are plenty of nice ones but don't know if they can accomodate that large of a group but depends on the game.

If you want a 5 star corporate duck hunt with all the afternoon activities try pintail hunting club in Garwood. Its well worth the money and great wing shooting.

Check out Tim Kelly's Waterfowl in Eagle Lake. Thats probably the nicest lodge and he has some of the best ponds in Eagle Lake.

a buddy of mine recommended Executive Outfitters out of Brownwood for Doves:

I've done the Corporate Quail/Chucker/Pheasant hunt out at the Castle ( http://www.greystonecastle.com/webdocs/wingshooting/texas-wingshooting.html ). It was fun, but it's "planted" birds. I think they have Dove hunting available too.
