Yep nothing like a coon proof feeder peep Looks like they are raking protein out on the ground for their buddies.

Yes they will eat you out of house and home.I have stopped shooting them for now, deer are coming in about the same time the coons show up and I don't want to spook the deer.

It's funny to me that people put feed in a coons home and get upset when they eat at the feeders. As bad as people building a house in the woods and get upset when the wildlife gets in their trash or eat their pets food. Try actually hunting and not setting over a feeder anyway. Takes a lot of skill to set over a feeder and shoot a deer coming to eat when half of the country is burned up and they are starving. If half the people on this forum had to hunt without corn and some kind of high dollar scent blocked and everything else they can buy at cabelas after leaving their office and 150000 dollar Dallas homes they wouldn't know what to do.

Whatever u people have no idea. Do the rest of us a favor and stay in your big cities and hunt black birds at wal mart. I hear they eat a lot of protein feed.

How about you crawl back in your mud hut, cook your road kill, and get an early start in the morning to hunt opossums with your sling shot in the nude. The rest of us will hunt what ever we please by any legal means we see fit. By the way, thanks for your input.

Mud hut huh? That was genius. All I'm saying is don't put candy in front of a kid and expect them not to eat it. If you put corn or protein feed in the woods coons are going to eat it. It's funny to me that folks would waste their money on it anyway. Don't make sense to shoot a deer over feed and then brag about how good of a hunter you are. Whatever floats your boat though. Try actually hunting once, you may find it a lot more rewarding.

A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear
