Owner Description: Hunt the historic Swenson Ranch! Approximately 1303 acres on the west side of Flat Top Mountain. This is good big buck habitat and consists of rolling hills, brushy mesquite flats, wheat field border, and good drainages. Good marshy areas (after the drought) and pipelied water with dirt tanks as well.

Full R.V. hook up camp site included. We are managing for trophy deer and want a small group that is willing to protein feed and follow a proven management program.

Price is $4.00 per acre and includes Spring Turkey and dove, plus hogs and varmints during deer season. It does NOT include quail. Year round access to manage feeders, etc. We will not be taking Does this year as a result of the drought. We want to maintain a healthy deer population.

You will be allowed 2 Trophy deer. The Hogs and Dove are plentiful on this pasture. It also borders a 320 acre wheat field. Shoot me an email at jeffreythomason@hotmail.com or give me a call (903) 366-3011

Sounds good except for the 4 Trophy bucks part,Not trying to be a buzz-kill but that is not a high deer-density area,no way to shoot 4 trophies and maintain quality from year to year on 1300 acres out there,2 maybe, most of the better ranches only allow 1 buck per 1000 acres in that area.

Please re read the post. You are allowed 2 trophy bucks, not 4. We are well aware of the deer density and what we can shoot off the ranch. The last thing we want to do is shoot too many deer.

Sorry, did not read carefully, anyone interested disregard my above post. That is a good area for trophies, I have hunted around there in the past with very good success.Jeff I like the fact that you allow family and at least one friend. Not easy to find places like these anymore.good luck,I'm sure the spot will fill quickly.
