My wife recently shot a large Mouflon Ram and we are looking for some creative ideas on mounting him. We don't necessarily want to do just a shoulder mount but maybe a Pedestal type mount with Texas habitat. Any suggestions or photos would be appreciated or any suggestions on a good quality taxiderminst who specializes in exoctics.

you probably want a full mount, but what i was thinking cause i cant spent that much, was like a bear rug mount. they do the head and the rest of the body is like a rug.
dont get on me, but the guys on that alaska mounting show, did a blue sheep i think like it. i thought it was a good idea. you get the full head mounted and still get to see the coat.

Thanks eastex. Whatever the client wants the client gets. That's our motto.

Mike, thanks for the idea. That rug looks pretty cool. I am thinking more of a 1/2 size with habitat like eastex described. Here are a few of my other mounts to give you guys some ideas of what I like and am looking for.

gaharris, we, or whomever you chose, would have to get togehter with you on that and see what you have hide wise and what your ideas are. Those are things that need to be discussed face to face as it is hard to convey specialized ideas over a keyboard like that. As far as we are concerned we can do anything you want to have done and can give you some great ideas on the habitat in person.

I say wall pedastal with the texas habitat
A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear

Gaharris, you have some really nice mounts. I really like the whitetail snow mount. Very cool!
You should have been here yesterday!

Put him on a pedestal mount and have him lip curling with his nose up in the air and his horns nearly touching his back.
