Anyone going to kill their two fall birds? I am going to try in FlA. I have seen Gobblers every fall on my lease. Hope to get in their travel line and call them close enough for a shot.

But I want to kill a Buck first. LOL

If you kill 2 in the fall. then do you have to take less in the spring then?

I'm an opportunist, I take'em when the opportunity arises. On rios it is 4 all seasons combined, so if you kill 2 in the fall, you can only kill 2 in the spring. Don't ask me about easterns though because they don't roam in my parts.

No Fall season for Easterns so that wouldn't an issue.

Gonna take my two, and keep a couple of slugs in case a big buck happens by.

Ideally, TPWD would review the nesting success and survival rate of this years polts and consider closing this years fall season in counties most impacted by the drought.

Guarentee that any turkey shot this fall will not mate next spring.

It'll never happen though . . so shoot away. . . kill em all.
