We have a 300 acre lease.

How many feeders should we use?

I say this because the guys that had the lease before us left 3 behind. We found 2 of them after we had set up our 3.

We recharged the batteries and they work fine.

We are in Jack county and it is DRY. There are going to be little to no acorns this year.

Thanks for the help.

the more spots you have running the decisions you'll have to make on which spot to sit at. On 300 acres on deer will be all over that ranch it would be pot luck trying to guess where to hunt. I do one for each member of the lease and no more than three.

if possible, i would set up a opposite direction shooting lane. that way if the wind is blowing the wrong direction for one feeder then would be OK for the other one.

We have a little over 300 acres with 3 people hunting on it. That said we dont all fill our tags, we do the deer surveys and harvest bucks and does to keep the desired ratios as best we can.

We have 5 corn (4 at hunting blinds and one at camp just to watch) and 4 free choice protein feeders. Works good for us.

Depending on the lay of the land 3-5 would be ideal.

Depends on how high corn gets and what you want to pay for it.

I pay $10 per #50 of corn and $9.50 per #50 of 20% protein.
