First time using a trail cam so of course the date and time are wrong! These pics were taken the next morning after I hung the camera and only 2 weeks after hanging the feeder! What do y'all think the age is of that 9 pt?

Kind of what I was thinking! I'm going to check my card this weekend. I should have more pics of him to look at and hopefully some more of other bucks too.

Just North, in Katemcy to be exact. I'm from Fredericksburg/Mason, so chances are I know your Grandparents!

Yeah I know where Katemcy is. My grandparents live right on 29 when you are coming in to Mason on 29. Their house is right before the Highway Department, it has the big red 18 wheeler on the side of the road. Dan and Linda McFarland are their names. I hunt on the 5 acres they live on, and then I hunt right up the road on a little place that Freddy Kettner owns that borders 29 and Ponotoc Ln, which is the road that goes right next to the Highway Department.

Thanks mbavo, this is my first year bow hunting and I'm planning on doing in exclusively! If I can get anymore pics that prove this deer to be atleast 4.5, I might take a crack at him with my bow. If not, then it'll have to be next year.

No kidding! You probably know my dad and/or his brother. Mark McFarland is my dad, and Freddy McFarland is his brother. They grew up hunting Old Pontotoc and Old Smoothing Iron, if you're familiar with that big rock which I believe is in between Mason and Llano.

Nice spot! I've been out there before, a few years ago. Hopefully Comanche creek has some water flowing in it before too long! Good luck this year.

My parents house borders the Katemcy Rock crawling place. They have a few good bucks that show up on their 10 acres. Small world in fact.

I'll tell you what, I've seen the biggest bucks on my my grandparent's little bitty 5 acres right there on highway 29 as you come into Mason from Llano.
