Wayne will be putting on his famous snake avoidance clinic at my place on the east side of Weatherford on August 6th. He will start at 7am and go until the last dog is complete. He will also have the snake vaccine available.

The cost is $40 per dog to be trained and $20 per vaccine.

Pm me for more information. Wayne has a great website at www.snakebreaker.com

PM me with questions and for directions.

We hope to see you there.

I keep missing the classes near Dallas. I had my dog trained last year and got the vaccine then. She got her booster this year, but I've been trying to find a trainer for a follow up on the avoidance training.

Go to the gun dog portion and look for Angie B. She is Tioga Retrievers and Wayne will be doing a clinic at her place this coming weekend.

Check with Wayne. He may have a schedule on his site. He also does private classes.

The vaccine gives you the time to find a vet to keep the dog alive for you.

Dogs aren't actually given snake venom, but rather a vaccine derived from horse blood in which the venom has been introduced to the horses. It basically gives the dog the ability to build antibodies that counteract the effects of venom of the western diamondback. here's a link with some info on it. You can find it for about $20/injection with an injection lasting for about 6 months.
