 MLD permit vs reg tags

Can somebody help clarify the use of MLD permits and filling my reg buck tags?
Our place where i usually hunt is in a 2 buck county but I also will be going to a different ranch under MLD. If I take a deer under MLD, does that use up one of my reg tags too or is the MLD permit completely separate. ie, can I take 3 bucks under this scenario?

What level MLD are you all?
My ranch is Level 3. MLD tags are the only tags used. You can harvest every buck you see untill you run out if MLD tags. The only thing your tags/license is used for is your lisence #.
