I listed a litter of setter pups in the trading post area. Both parents are from premier east coast kennels and are out of some of the best coverdog breeding in the country. If you like setters, this is a great opportunity to get a puppy with this kind of breeding here in this part of the country.

Thanks,

Tyson

Do they have Cover Dog trials in this area?

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

No, but these pups should have the ability to do well in shooting dog trials (especially walking) or NSTRA, which we have in this area. More importantly, at least to me, these dogs will be perfect for the foot hunter. They should have nice size and be athletic. They should hunt a nice comfortable range for the foot hunter as both parents do.

Do not let the coverdog tag fool you though. My first setter was out of Reroy and he could have ran all-age.

Monday evening, I was shocked to see two different coveys on the road of 2-3 week old birds. They were about 1/2 mile from the house about 200 yards apart. I don't know how it is possible for a quail to hatch in this blast furnace. That is the first young birds that I have seen.
