The hunter specialties camo paint on their boats. I am just curious how it has worked out for you. If not what have you used or would recomend. I have read where some people say you need marine grade paint and others say you dont. Any insite would be appreciated.

Depends if you want it to stick or not. Washing a boat and painting it is just gonna waste your time. Sand the everlivin heck out of it....wipe down well with mineral spirits or acetone. Then use a zinc chromate primer. After that, spray on your base coat of your camo and then follow with the finishing stencil kit with rattle cans.

Dang it..... I was hoping you were gona say "yeah youll be fine I do it all the time" lol. Thanx for the advice. It is a huge boat so sanding every thing inside and out is gona take a bucha cold beer to get done.

Parker duck boat paint worked great for me. I sanded the Hull with 100grit then put muratic acid in a pump sprayer and went to spraying! My Parker paint has been on the boat for going on seven seasons. Yeah it has some chips on the gunwales from my push pole, but all in all it still looks awesome!
