 Boys buffalo hunt yesterday

My oldest took a buffalo at wrs ranch yesterday. Perfect neck shot dropped the buffalo where it stood. Big thanks to Ricky(guide) for all his help. We chased red deer all afternoon before finally connecting.

Yeah, I got the red deer cow. My youngest was trying totals with his 20g and slugs. Took a shot and missed, another shot missed, I shot and missed. I then shot at a dirt clump 50 feet away, and the slug hit 3-4 feet to the right and high. No wonder why he was missing. The day was getting late and he was tired. I shot it with my son's .270wsm. Hit it low front shoulder, second shot across the lower chest. I will admit to my bad shot. But it did do the job.
