My wife got me a GSP for my B-day!  I wish he could get along with the other dog.  Stealing the big dogs food.  Starting his training. I told him to study Chapter 1.

We named him Jackson Lee. He's starting to pick things up like "sit" and "come". Making progress on house training too. Anytime he wants to go outside, he just pees on the floor. Not sure who is training who yet...

To be fair, he whines at the door for 2 seconds, waits for about 5, if you are not there to let him out...that's when he pees. But, he is getting better!
And every now and then, he points!

Fantastic dogs! Our bitch is 5 now and is just great. One of the absolute smartest dogs I've ever been around and as loyal as they come. She wants to do right all the time and is eager to learn. Probably the most active dog I've ever seen and can run for ever. Right now she's been the guardian of 5 baby bottle calves in our back yards that are my kids summer projects to earn money. Flippin hilarious to see her interact with those calves! She's outside during the day and full of energy and we bring her inside in the evenings and at night and is a compeltely different dog and is laid back as all get out.
I hope yours is just like ours cuz you'll love him. There is no doubt we will have another.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
