I haven't seen a Hog in months (May - current), no signs of them at all.

I went to the lease this past weekend and there is 2 inches of corn laying on the ground, it is the same pile of corn that was there last month - that is 45 days of corn being on the ground.

The lease has a stock pond, we border a high fence on one length of the land. The hay field isn't producing any crop i.e no growth. Hay bails are out for the cows.

If you live or hunt in Stephens Co are you too thinking "Where have they gone"?

Just curious, thanks

BB

I hunt in Stephens County also just outside Strawn off FM 207. Just shot a hog last weekend and had lots of others around. Not sure where you are but there around my lease.

Everywhere out here on our ranch. I've killed 11 since mid-may, and haven't even been hunting that hard for them.

Since it's so dry probably staying in lower areas with good water and food.

I'm north of 180, off of 717. West of PK lake and State Park.

We sat on the stock pond for two nights, not a single squeal was heard nor any other shots from nearby ranches.

I have always wondered what the hog population is on that large MT7 ranch, I think that's the name of it.
