Had a lady out this weekend and took this water buffalo. She is not a member of the forum so I thought I would share. She took it down with her 45-70. It turned into a difficult hunt because they didn't show their faces until late morning when it was very hot. enjoy

So they weren't hanging out in the water like the did when I was there. Now that would of been fun pulling that beast out of the water. Sure looks bigger on the ground

Yep, they didn't come to the water until late. It was still a job getting everything caped and quartered though.

Sure is and very good steak. They left some of the meat and I had steaks tonight. Very GOOD.
