I bought this 10/22 just a little over 10 years ago. It started as a basic stainless 10/22 with a standard barrel. Throughout the years and when on leave while in the military, I would come home and buy parts. Now that I'm out of the military and in the gun business, I've finally finished my 10/22. I really think that the only change I will make after this point is the change the scope base to a Tactical Solutions weaver base. After putting all of these products together, I became a dealer for every one of these brands and I only want to sell items that actually perform well and are worth their cost. Here is the list of upgraded parts: Volquartzen TG2000 Trigger Assembly (Sweet Trigger Pull) Hogue Stock Harris Bipod Pride and Fowler 3-9x32mm .22 LR Rangefinding Scope (Best .22 scope there is) Tactical Solutions Fluted and Threaded Barrel Nylon Impact Buffer (A must for a completely quiet .22) Leupold Base and Rings Yankee Hill Machine Phantom 5.56 SS QD Suppressor w/ QD mount Ruger BX-25 25 Round Factory Magazine (Don't even bother with other mags) Here is a video of it shooting when my tax stamp arrived in May, sounds like a desk stapler! I think I've kill about 50 turtles with it since then.

Nice little .22! Question or two- "Nylon Impact Buffer (A must for a completely quiet .22)"...is that something you use with the suppressor? Or does it make it quieter anyway? Oh, I heard good things about those mags, been thinking about ordering myself one.
Mmmm Hmmm

It's a little piece of rubber that replaces the metal buffer pin in the back of the 10/22 receiver. With a non-suppressed gun I don't think you can tell much of a difference, but with a suppressed gun it will take the metal smacking noise out of the gun's operation when fired. Basically, it will only make it quieter if your gun is suppressed.

Ahh, I gotcha. I have a Rossi pump .22 and use those sub sonic shorts around the house here. It's "pretty" quiet, but it ain't near as cool as yours. I have a 10/22 on layaway at the pawn shop right now and can't wait to get it out, lol. I LOVE shootin turtles.

Any reason you went with a 556 can instead of a dedicated .22lr? Like a Silencerco Sparrow or Gemtek Outback?
Good looking build, got a lot of $$$ tied up in it....

Do they make those buffers for pistols? I want one for a Browning Buckmark.
