Here is something I do summer times to keep my family warm at the cold winter times we have here. Lots of work but it's good for the body.

I think I will keep the delivery service, I found that the effort of writing a check is easier.

Heh heh... Yes it's easier but my old father told me once fire wood must be done with your body and soul and so I have done :-)

What kind of gränsfor yxa you want.? There are different mods like cleaver, hunters axe, smaller handy axe, wood axe?

No electric cleavers for me, just axe. :-) Smaller pieces I do with one hand. I have done this lots of times :-)

I found that having nothing that burns logs is much easier than even writing a check. banana2

For me it's kind of relaxing to do this. My mind is in my own thoughts while working with this. I dont hurry with it. I do it in time now and then.

The scandinavian forest axe is 95 USD here to buy. It's a professional wood axe and in my oppinion the best is.

How long did it take you to split that pile by hand? What was the temps there for a high that day?

Yes it's warm to do this. We have round +19 Celsius now so it's good temp to work :-) The pile is much bigger now. I can post some pics later. :-)
