New ranch photos! We are out of the path of the current NM fires but still considered in extreme fire danger. It has been drying up fast since May. Some bulls and a nice muley buck in velvet:   The pretty blonde. Do you think they are both the same bear?   And a brown one too:  This guy looks like he is posing for a greeting card!  And last night there was a huge elk herd that came down by the cabin. Lots of babies and probably about 100 adults. Nice herd bull bringing up the rear. This shot was taken from the cabin porch. All the cow and calf calls were so loud echoing in the canyon and the bull even bugled a couple of short squeals.  Enjoy!

 looks like a great place to live. I think it is two pics of the same blond but could be wrong

Great pictures. Keep them coming. Nice to see pictures that have green in them! Thanks everyone. Yeah, the green is nice, but it is quickly turning brown. We have dried out fast since May. You can see it in the pond pictures.

Great photos especially of the bears! I wish we had a sustainable population of bears in Texas to allow hunting. Maybe in a few years
