Thank god we finally got a Lil rain. Don't know how much since my rain gauge was blown over. But was sure nice to wake up in the middle of the night to wind rain and lighting.

Yep we were past the critical stage on need for rain. Got .9 here at my house in Goldthwaite but west of town it was much heavier. Here is a site to check rain totals in central Texas. http://www.lcra.org/water/conditions/rainfall.html

We got about 3/4 of an inch here north of S.A., who knew I'd be so happy after a little shower like that. My grass went from light brown to golf course green over night.

Had been pouring since 3:30am and was still at 5:50 when I left for work. Hope it was more than an inch or two...trying to keep some trees ALIVE that I had planted the last week of February.
But any amounts are more than greatful for...thank you God!

I'm glad you guys over there finally got a little relief. We have been in a drought over here too. We have gotten over 4 inches in the past two days. Just what we needed.

No rain in eastern Erath,it was headed our way from Comanche then split in two, just north and south of us got from 2 to 5 inches. This is the worst drought we've ever had.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
