What we've got here is a failure to communicate. Some hogs you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last night; which is the way they want it. Well, they get it. I don't like it any more than you.

That is awesome! I see you used the 150 grain supersonic Q-tip method to swab the ear canal...instant improvement in communications. Thanks for sharing!

I always thought that the pig population would never be controlled...but I tell ya what..with ole Djones around...maybe its doable....what does that make? 100 this year alone?

Are you a farmer in that area or just someone who is mad at the hogs? I'm just a regular guy by day, but at night, I'm that guy!!! I always thought that the pig population would never be controlled...but I tell ya what..with ole Djones around...maybe its doable....what does that make? 100 this year alone? I'm probably getting close to 175 or so. I don't know how prevalent hogs are in your area, but unless the pigs around here evolve into a smarter, faster and sneakier species, they will continue to have a tough time. Just out of curiosity, what do you do with all that pork. By dawn I just barely have enough energy to take a pic.

Very nice. Was this a solo job at a single location or multiple places? This is a new place. Farmer showed me around during the day and I hunted it solo after dark. I find it best to get permission for yourself first, then see about bringing friends, rather than showing up with other hunters for the introductions  . Saw plenty of sign but you never know what to expect. Turns out hogs kept coming into one field and I didn't even get to hunt all the areas I was shown.
