I have a couple of Watusi I am wanting to get rid of.. They eat great and fill up your freezer. They also make a cool looking mount... I am asking $1,000 plus $175 a day guide fee.

For me maybe one day. Would be great to fill the freezer though.

They make a great euro mount and a great rug from a tanned hide but not so good on steaks from them IMO as they are a little on the tougher side like grass fed beef so I would have them tenderized but some really good hamburger.

you need a guide for a COW? just asking Someone always has to make some kind of smart!@# comment. Most people already know there is not much to these hunts, and the guide fee probably covers his time, fuel and helping with the animal after it is harvested. Robert if I did not have a freezer full of buffalo already, I would be all over this. Bump for some great eating.

If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

If people have to ask why guide fee tell them they can find a way to hang skin and clean a animal that big once it's on the ground I don't think people think about what you have to do after the animal is on the ground thats when the work starts and the guide fee comes in.

Is there a trespass fee on this hunt too?
I have some longhorn cattle that I will let anyone come out and kill for $500, and I do not charge a guide fee. $500 to the first bidder.
They have been eating alfalfa, hay grazer, corn, and cottonseed as well.

Can you explain to me exactly what a trespass fee is? Sounds like a way for you to get your money, one way or the other. If someone kills an animal, they pay you for the animal plus the guide fee. If they dont kill an animal, they pay a trespass fee. Kind of crappy if you ask me.
Just a way to make sure you get something out of the deal.

Robert, you should try the "ignore this user" button in certain folks profiles. Makes the entire thread much nicer to read....
