Myself and one of my employees Corey are hunting tonight with Austen and Travis of Boars N More.
7:10 in the ground blind. Feeder about 75 yards away.
7:30 one jumpy doe and a squirrel at the feeder.
More updates as things occur.

Wind picking up. Doe is very jumpy. Hope the wind doesn't keep the hogs away

I am near Halletsville
Wind died down. Three does eating all the corn.
9:15 feeder goes off again. Green led light on feeder came on. It is not as bright as I anticipated but when I look through my binos or scope it is plenty bright to shoot by.
10:00 still no sign of hogs. I hope Corey is having better luck then me.
Single doe at the feeder, these green led lights are pretty cool.

2:00 time to pack up and leave. No sign of pigs. After speaking with Corey he had the same luck I did at his feeder, lots of deer and coons but no pigs.

Try J.J. at Kent Outdoors. He has a ton of hogs and is a real nice guy. Going up Wednesday night and I can't wait because I know we will be covered up with pigs.

I had the same luck this weekend at our lease. In fact for the first time ever upon arrival there was 2 inches of corn just laying under the feeder indicative of no activity in quite some time.

But like a good hunter I manned the stand for 16 hours over two days to see nothing but rabbits and coon.

Sometimes that is how it goes...

I have had feeders covered in pigs for days...then put a hunter in it, and nothing shows...

It happens..I'd lie if I said it didn't...

Hope you get on one next time! smile

I would like to try J.J. Kent but I am near San Antonio and he appears to be north of Dallas. That is a bit far for me during my busy season.
