Looks good, but +1 on coleslaw.

Coleslaw is what yankees put on their pulled pork. I'll take onions, pickles, and jalapenos.

Yankees don't eat pulled pork. It's a southern thing.

Pulled pork is a Carolina thing, not a Texas thing. I have yet to see a bbq place in Texas serve pulled pork, much less with cole slaw.

Must be a Dallas thing...yankees. Around here it is brisket, sausage, pork and beef ribs. Never seen pulled pork in Central Texas. And I've gone from Cooper's to Louie Mueller's to Salt Lick to all the places in Lockhart. Isn't anything north of Waco New England?

I like the japs! Leave the vinegar and cole slaw for the hillbillies.

BBQ sauce out of a bottle? What happened to homemade sauce, that's the way to go!

I'm beginning to wonder why anyone would want to put any video or recipe on this forum.
If you have nothing nice to say..............

Guess what?
It's OK to eat pulled pork any way you like. It can be swimming in sauce. It's OK. I can be dry. It's OK. Cole slaw or not. Jalepenos or not. Onions or not. Pickles or not.
Pulled pork tacos are pretty darned good. Pulled pork nachos are too.
It's not a Texas thing. It must only be a Dallas thing. Austin doesn't count either. Neither does Houston or San Antonio. It's only a city thing. It's not real barbeque.

Why in the world are we so arrogant to think that the way we like things is the only way to have it, and any other way is wrong?

The smell of stupidity stinks around here.

udaman, what I like most about your posts is that you cook, and you don't shove fast food down your kid's throat.

It was a question in the form of a critique.
Finding fault in a snobbish way.

Chill out. I'm not insulting anyone. All in good fun. I liked the way Dan topped his pulled pork.

Coolie, pulled pork is not a Texas thing. It is a Carolina thing. Texas is known for brisket. For sandwiches, it is chopped/chipped/sliced beef. Doesn't mean I don't like pork, I've made pulled pork sandwiches before. I don't like my pulled pork with cole slaw. It's gross. People in Texas do not generally do it. Some people do, cultures spread and food is no different. Just having a little fun. Sounds like you need your Xanax for the day.
