Enjoy them while theyre small bro...cuz they grow fast! I have 2 of my own (Camo n Chevy) and love them to death...they'll do anything for you! I'd never own another breed for as long as I live. They're just as good as any lab or pointer at retrieving doves/ducks...they just stay wet longer. But when u mix in their protective instincts around my little girl...hands down a mans best friend!

congrats on a new addition to your family...i have a GSD ....sadie who is 11...the most loyal, loving, obediant ,and protective,( when she needs to be) family member iv ever had....you will enjoy many great years with him
