Was at my buddies ranch in Junction, a few weekends back and they have a pair of eagles that nest there from october to May. My camera was about dead, but I was able to capture this photo right before it died. The bird took off from its perch right when I snapped this photo and my camera died right after I took this pic, wish I would have had more camera, battery as it swooped down and grabbed a large bass outta the river not 40 yards in front of us. Was not actually aware of what the photo turned out until a few days later when I was able to plug it into my computer, wish I had a program to clean it up, but just dont have one, if any of ya'll would like feel free to clean it up...

I can't remember the exact road, but I believe it is, it is off the road that runs beside the Llano River. His family actually owns the headwaters of the Llano.

Yup i think that's it, pass it every year. Seen them in flight but never took a photo. It'd be on the left if headed to Menard from Georgetown...never can remember the spot til I see the river

Nice pic! Seem to be a few more sightings of them every year.

Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.
