This is a great BBQ sauce for chicken and pork. I used Triple Sec for that bit of orange flavor. Give it a try.

1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Chile Sauce
1/2 Cup Triple Sec
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Ketchup
1/4 Cup Worcestershire
2 Cloves Garlic - Crushed
1 Tea Spoon Ground Dry Mustard
1/8 Tea Spoon Cayenne
1/8 Tea Spoon Ground Black Pepper
A Few Dashes of Liquid Smoke

Pour all liquid ingredients into a pot (I prefer cast iron) and bring to a boil. Whisk in your dry ingredients and reduce to a simmer. Stir every 5 minutes or so and cook it for a total of 30 minutes or until it reaches the consistency you are looking for.

You can sub your favorite liquor in for the Triple Sec. Also, if you are smoking your food on a smoker, it is not necessary to use the liquid smoke since your meat will already have a smokey flavor.

This make about 2 cups of sauce.

You left triple sec out of your ingredient list.
