Hi All,

I am heading up to Ontario for a black bear hunt this fall. I would be interested in seeing pics of your bears mounts. I am thinking of doing a full body mount, standing on back legs looking around.
Jake

Hey - I saw you were from San Antonio - looks like we're neighbors. Sending a couple of pics and wishing you good luck on your hunt. Keep us posted!

These are really awesome. I am already thinking of a second hunt for a color phase. Thanks BH, where are you at?

Not to discourage you from going to Ontario for Black Bear but if you want to hunt the bigegst Black bear in Canada they are on Vancouver Island on the coast of BC. The hunt will likly cost a little more though but you will deffinatly have a good shot at finding a Boone & Crockett Bear there.

Thanks, not hunting for anything B&C. I am heading to Ontario for the fishing and bear hunting combo. Had some friends go last year and take nice bears. Thanks for the ideas!

I wish I could send you pictures of the mount I have with the bear on his hind legs raking a White Birch (that's the way I shot him). I go up to New Brunswick, Canada just about every year. You can't find bigger bears than Vancover Island, but New Brunswick has some of the best coats around. Good luck on your bear hunt, but beware, it's addictive.

I went with a rug on mine but these full body mounts are great. Very nice work.
