I am in the market for a new duck boat. I have decided I want 17.5 ft to 19 ft.....I do not want a tiller. ..I would prefer a center console. I do not know a lot about mud motors but think I would prefer outboard. I have been doing a little research and like the Alumacraft tunnel, G3 and Lowe roughneck tunnel. I want all camo...does anyone have any feedback on what I should consider and what I should stay away from?

Thanks in advance,

Rodney

Stay away from riveted boats. All-weld is the best way to go. If your looking for a duck boat see about getting one with floatation pods in the back and tunnel hull. I have a 18ft duracraft tunnel hull with pods, its perfect for running in 4-6in of water.

you boat is nice..The pro-drive would be my fist choice.(I like the layout..... I just can not find a dealer that is close to the DFW area.

I've got a rig for sale in the classifieds with a 2010 Prodrive 36, but its tiller, not CC.

does anyone have any experience with the pro-drive boats with a regular outboard? I like the layout of the prodrive but I am not sure i need the mud motor.
