We had two spots open up on our ranch in San Saba. This property has been intensely managed for the last 11 yrs, and has been archery only for the past 6 yrs. Each hunter gets one mgmt buck(4+ yo 8 pt or less, occasionally 9+ pts are shot on age and undesireable horns). 1 trophy being 5+ yo over 130. We are looking for hunters that are experienced archers with experience at aging/managing deer. We are consistently shooting deer in the 125-140 range and have shot several 150+ deer off the ranch. The ranch is also loaded with hogs. No turkey hunting. You can bring anyone you want as a guest, but you are required to hunt with them. Guests can shoot mgmt deer and does from your tag allotment or extra does as needed by the mgmt plan. We are a very family oriented group with 2 members having younger(5-8) yo kids. The neighboring ranches are: highfenced on east side, 8000 acre intensely managed on north side, 1200 acres 4 yo+ only on west, 1800 acres on south with same plan as ours; resulting in over 13,000 acres being managed and 12,000 acres being protein fed.

Here's some info.

2100 low fence acres heavily oak covered with controlled cedar plan.
7 paid hunters and myself. Yearround access with the exception of 6 offseason weekends that we use for "family/guest" hog hunting weekends.

-3 windmills, 1 solar powered well with water piped to 6 water troughs.
-5 protein stations with water at each station.
-Price includes us(rancher) filling feeder.
-ranch is perfect square with 400 acre sanctuary area in middle that is no hunting or traffic.
-2 cabins on property with kitchens, well water, propane, all new appliances, bathrooms/showers, satellite tv, 30x30 deck with firepit, etc. The cabins are for central use, you will need a trailer to sleep in.
-12x20 walkin cooler
-ice machine
-lighted skinning shed with water and stainless steel cleaning table
-walkin grain silo for corn storage
-2 acre stocked tank in process of being built.
-5 2-3 acre food plots planted and maintained by me.

price is 3975. Thats 10/acre on the ranch($5/acre cheaper than all three of our neighbors) and includes protein.

6.5 yo mgmt buck. 200 + lbs.

This deer was nocturnal/cripple and was never killed. Pretty decent genetics.

157" 7.5 yo trophy. Deer was 11 3/4 wide. Wouldnt be legal in a lotta counties.

6.5 yo mgmt

6.5 yo mgmt

160+ 10 point. Seen 1 time last year the week after season.

140" 10 point

Its about 4 miles north of pontotoc on cr 373. I just found out that one of our guys got in a bad accident and won't be coming back. So we have 3 spots now.

Good thing about a droubt....build ponds. Its hard to find a dozer operator right now, but got ours turned loose on the D6 last couple weeks. Gonna have about 1-2 acres of 12ft deep and about 2 acres tapering up to flat grade. Still have 3 spots open on the lease.

Will back up to the far trees. Bout 200 yds.

Going up this weekend to pipe water to it. Once its full...........whenever that is, should be able to keep it full.

It should be on like donkey kong. Our little 1/4 acre ponds holds big number of wigeon. So have high hopes for the new lake.

We actually have 3 spots now. One of the guys had a bad accident and isnt coming back.
