If you have a stainless barrel are you a LOT more likely to spoke a coyote or just a little more likely to. Or will they just go inviso and fillet your innards?

i dont think you would have to worry much as long as you take them out at around 100 yards

The only thing i would worry about is the sun hitting it and making a visible glare, which its the same with a blued barrel. I would just try to stay in the shade

Oh and they can spot it if it stands out alot further than 100 yards

you could always wrap the barrel in tape. i wrapped my stainless ruger 30-6 in camo tape and ive never had a problem at all with glare

Bead blast, tape of some kind or spray paint would make it a non issue !!

Cheaper than dirt sells some camo wrape that won't stick to your gun, but sticks to itself. That way it's not permanent and won't leave a residue on the barrel. Its cheap too.

I just picked up a 20" RRA Varmint upper that's a little shiny, that why I asked. I'll look into the temporary wrap, I would think they could effect cooling in long shooting sessions.

some gun sites have material socks/sleeves to fit over the barrel, i used tape & it was great. have also had a beat up truck gun that the barrel was just too shiny so it was sanded down & spray painted dull camo color. or hunt at night. many easy ways to get around it.
this is just my opinion on things (gun & trucks mostly) if its all nice, shiny & pretty...its not meant to be used (shot, hunted with, taken off road)

Just keep the wind in your face and the sun to your back and it will be fine.

+1. Setup and being still are more important by far than how shiny your barrel is. Relax and go calling, that barrel won't matter!
