I'm using a foxpro fx3, what calls are using when you first get to the stand. I have some locator calls and some distress calls. I'm not really sure which sounds to start with. How long do you run a distress call when hunting coyotes. Thanks

I am no pro but what works for me is 3 or 4 coyote howls then I start low volume on the lip squeak or distressed cottontail. Using an electronic call I just run it till I can't stand it anymore but get louder every 5-7 minutes. Works everytime or I move after 45 minutes. If your really bored I use a crow call to tell them to come and get it while the electronic is going.
