erathar come on man... if i wanted to i could charge $50 and people would shoot hogs and have a great time at my place in terrell, Tx. not even 45 min away from dallas were over ran also with hogs, we go every fri and sat night 4 of us and for the past 3 weeks we have taken 3-5 pigs every weekend. this is just another ranch that has a big hog problem and trying to take care of it and make some money i dont see anything wrong with it while the pigs are still there shoot them!

We have a lot of hunters coming from this forum and it breaks down as follows:

- Hunters that are NOT registered members of this forum, they just "browse" and "surf" the site, call us and book the hunts.
- Hunters that are registered members of this forum and don't necessarily care or bother to leave any feedback from their hunt.
- Hunters that are registered members of this forum and do care to post feedback about their hunts and you can see them posted.

Things that are pretty common among all the three scenarios above after hunting with us are:
#1 - ALL hunters leave happy.
#2 - ALL of them come back and hunt with us every year there after.
#3 - NOBODY has been dissatisfied, lied to, nor ripped off, otherwise you would have seen a post RIGHT HERE to that effect, makes sense?

I don't know where you hunt, but it seems that you are not used to seen many hogs nor any game I guess, well, that's not our case, we have PLENTY hogs and LOTS of game.

Finally, I have a DIRECT proposition for you since you have made accussations or at least "hinted" them. I personally would like to INVITE you to come out to the ranch and if we don't see ANY hogs you won't have to pay a single dime and I'll even pay for you gas round trip, BUT, you will give me $100 for EVERY hog that we see out there, and you won't shoot them, we'll just count them as they come to the feeder. And to top it off, you will post after your trip what the outcome of your trip was. Do we have a deal?

Just kidding boss. Hey, that is just what it seems like. Honestly, I am from right there close to you, and the next time I come back up there, I will personally come out and hunt. AND I will be SURE to post all of the pictures when I am done. I will be in contact with you hopefully within the next month or so. That truly is a great price. Especially as many hogs as you say you have.

And hell no Im not Paying 100 dollars per hog. That doesnt even make sense seeing as how a hunter could shoot unlimited for that same price

We are just over ran with hogs and it doesn't matter how many get killed, there seem to be more reproducing than the ones that get taken down.

About the price, you're right, it's truly a great affordable price to come out, shoot some hogs and have a good time.

About the $100 per hog, that was because of your doubtfulness, if you are willing to come out to the ranch in a humble manner, shoot some hogs and have a good time, all you'll need to pay is $100 just like the rest.

Let me know when you want to come out, I'll make it a point to hunt that same weekend so that I can meet you.

erathar !!! my place also hold alot of hohs and i agree that a good price and i am sure they are telling the truth! if you want to doubt them go check them out!!! the one thing i dont believe is the 750 lb hog it looks like a 750 lb but it aint but its a honest mistake people make it all the time i have bought wild hogs for packing houses since 1990 and have never seen a real wild hog weigh over 450 hogzilla and all the other great big hogs were domestic turned out or escaped (proven fact))) but its an honest mistake people tell me all the time they got 500 or 600 lb hogs and no one has ever brought one to this day but i do believe they have alot of hogs and i am sure it would be a good hunt and i have never seen or hear of them before i am not a buddy you describe good luck 1avidhunter

well, I will break it to you. When I was 11 years old hunting with my Dad in louisiana for squirrels. I heard my dad shoot his rem mag 1100 3 times,(Now Dad was a sniper and always killed with 1 shot, so something was wrong) I heard him, yell "Boy climb a tree and look out". I didn't know why but if he said do it I did. About 3 minutes later I hear a crashing noise coming through the woods. I pick up my 20 guage and change to slugs. As soon as I put my gun on him, he dropped dead. This was a big boar, we tried to drag it out, couldn't do it. went back to the deer camp and got Dad's friends with a 4x4 and winch and trailer. it took 6 guys and a winch to get that boar up. they weighed at the gamestation there at Corny Creek Bottoms. The boar weighed over 633 lbs.
My Dad actually shot him 3 times in the head with buckshot, that he had changed over to when he saw him walking toward him, the hog kept charging anywhere, dad jumped in a tree and hollered for me to do the same. good bacon, sausage, and humongous hams.
Now that being said, since then, i have seen plenty close to 400 hundrfed but not over, and I really don't want to when I am squirrel hunting either

Sorry about the pic quality on the pig pic. My phone doesn't take good pics. This boar was seen at another spot next to me before he came to me. There are still many hawgs to be had out there. Great place for hawg hunting. I had fun taking this one in the mud pit. I didn't realize my muzzle break from my AR-15 was in the pic. One shot- one kill.

Hog season is almost here, we'll start booking hunts starting January 21, 2011, so start planning your preferred weekends now and book your hunts early, spots go fast.

Remember that our hunts are limited to just a few hunters per weekend.

During the colder months, what time do you usually see pigs?

if you get a chance to hunt on this place it is amazing. Perfect scenery, comfortable blinds. I have hunted there about 3-4 times and every time I saw a ton of hogs, you can't miss. Close by and cheap to boot. Shoot my first time out there I went with my wife and even she enjoyed it.

are there pigs in daylight there or only night?

I just called to try and book a hunt. The next available opening was in Feb. (only one day open). The next opening after that was March (again only one day available).

Hunting dates are going very fast, we're working into April and May right now, you may also be lucky if there is a cancellation so you may check into that. So hurry up before your preferred dates are already taken!
