There are no reviews on this site I can find. Brent sounds nice and pretty straight forward.

Looking if anyone Deer hunted there and what report is. All low fence 15,000 acres.

Used to hunt real close to there and have been on some dove hunts on their property. Always a nice hunt and they should have some quality deer.

Cliff Lee and Tommy Hunter do. They were there about two weeks ago just before oh Cliffy headed out.

Too bad I did'nt see them in Jacksboro maybe I could've convinced him to stay, ya know maybe show him my kids sad eyes and told him how much the kids love him or something. rofl

I hunted the second and third year they opened it. It was a different outfitter back then. Saw some 160+ deer but was always hunting a management deer. Only shot I ever took was at a 135 to 140" 8 point and I hit the feeder pen. We put the cabinets in the ranch house.

Brent is a straight up guy. I've known the family for over 30 years. Every thing they do is first class. Great stewards of the soil.

Just got back from my Richards Ranch trip. It was awesome! We didn't land one of the many 125-160 Deer showing up on cam during shooting hours last week, but I did get an 18" inside 9 point. Beautiful mature 5.5+ year Deer, just had broken right G2 and overall short tines. Brent is great, made me feel at home on his 100+ year family ranch. My guide Shannon (same guide as Cliff Lee) did everything right, he had to work hard. The hidden secret may be the food! It was first class. My cabin was nice queen bed, heat/AC, kitchenette, shower, and cable TV. The lodge is cozy to sip a single malt or Lonestar smile in front of the fire bench hunting with the guys.

The hunting is low fence on 15k acres. It is true fair chase, but with management tags you can hunt rifle in October or this week like I did. This is the place to go if looking for a solid (most typicals) 125-150 Whitetail. They have a pretty high opportunity rate for this. For example, Tommy Hunter took one, but Cliff Lee decided to pass on a few looking for something bigger and ended up not taking one. I wouldn't expect to shoot a 160+ Deer, but they do have them and they have been shot in the past. This is just a good reliable place to get a 125-150, a doe, and a hog all part of the package.

They also do a bunch of business for just hogs, turkey, and upland.

Nice. Glad you had a good hunt. The place sounds solid. Nice to hear from a hunter that bought a hunt and was satisfied with what he got and the effort of his outfitter. So many think there should be a 160 hiding behind every bush when they buy a hunt. Congrats again.

The Versus show with Ron Spomer hunted Richards Ranch just a few weeks before me and here was the 10 minute segment. I'm going back end of October and will have choice bow or rifle, will certainly try to stick one first.
