I am looking for a good hunting dog. I had a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and have a bad knee so looking for a dog thst will work relatively close to me within reason and have been told and read Brits are a good choice. Any recommendations on a good breeder with dog with good pedigrees? Hoping not to spend a fortune on a untrained/unstarted dog

Try www.flyingogundogs.com we have three from them. Great bloodlines.

Sorry, try this www.flyingodog.com The website has changed some & I dont like the new format, you have to click on each picture that you want to see clearly. But I do have three awesome brittanies from them. Ed & Betty Orms are great people.

I love Brittanys but most of the ones I have been around have been medium to big rangeing dogs. Go out with whatever breeder you decide on and make sure you are getting what you want.

If I were focused on close range I would look at the WPG or the BdB. I have hunted behind both and enjoyed their hunting styles even though
