If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

i was really hoping there would be someone who would really strongly believe that this was something other than a coyote and really believe that its a blood sucking beast that will kill us all like the people I see on TV from around Victoria

Think about it, don't you think bigfoot hunts? Well he can't hunt without a hunting dog.

So Chupas are a cross between a Jackalope and a Russian Boar? That has got to be one ugly animal. This one was killed some 25 years ago, I still have the skull.

Chupacabras are the worlds deadliest man eaters, NO ONE has EVER escaped from one, therefor no one has ever lived to tell about them.

I hunted with a guy about a month ago that said he had shot several, and even had some pics to prove it. I wanted to shoot one but we didnt see one that weekend. I hear thats why there are any fox down in south texas, bc the chupa's eat all of them!
You should have been here yesterday!

I've seen several (or one several different times) odd critters in West Texas that might pass for a chupa. Always called them catdogs because they had both canine and feline features. Not very big, maybe 40 pounds or so. Good fur on 'em, not mangy or bald looking. Sneaky as anything I've ever seen. Others that hunt with me have seen them too. Still trying to figure out what the heck they are. Maybe I'll get a shot at one someday, although I haven't seen one in the past couple of years since they put the wind turbines up on the ranch.
Of course with my luck if I did shoot one it would probably turn out to be some exotic endangered species that no one thought was in the U.S. and I'll have to throw the camera away and get out the shovel to stay out of jail.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.
