I just wanted to inform anyone, who is in the market to buy a pigeon trap, that Lion Country Supply's traps need lots of work done to them before they can actually catch a bird. I have been running 4 of their traps the past two weeks. The areas are full of pigeons. Every time I check, the trap's food bowls are empty and zero birds.
I called Lion Country and talked to a rep. He told me they get calls like that all of the time and to pinch the bobs tighter and it would fix it. WRONG!!!! Once I looked at the bobs and noticed that they literally have a 1/ 2 inch of play, it was an easy fix. I placed a spacer on one side of the bobs and pushed in the wire mesh to close off the edge.

We are finally catching a few ferals and hopefully we will really start catching them, considering I have been feeding them for fun the past month. I love Lion County Supply, but for the love of anyone's sanity, they need to improve their product some. I am also trying a recall funnel on one of my homemade quail recall pens. I just increased the size of the funnel by 1 inch on both sides. We'll see how that goes.

Why don't you open up and tell us how you really feel about LCS?

IF you know where they are roosting, a flash light and a fishing net attached to a pool pole. Ive caught 20 birds in an hour.

I would love to do that method, but the birds are out of reach on both spots. I actually really like LCS, but their cages need some improvements if they continue to sell them. I have bought several great products from them so I guess the percents are still in their favor. Hopefully this will be a good week to catch some birds. I feel confident now that the bobs cannot move an inch. haha

Have a great weekend!
