I hunt south of the Pease River in Foard & Cottle counties and I was wondering if anyone had any success in this area. I passed on a few nice ones early in the season, and I am hunting MLD so I hope it's not over yet. Look forward to hearing all replies.

I hunt in Knox, Foard, and Hardeman. Never was in the right place at the right time this year to get a really good one. Have pics of some that I hope are still around next year. I would like to get close to or on the river in Foard or Cottle. If you know of anything opening up let me know.

WE are in northern FOARD and saw some early, either out of bow range or on game cams... had one older 12 pt killed, passed on some shooter culls early, big spikes and such, but once gun season started it was thin pcikens...

We may be getting some more land, the guys near us have let's say disappointed the landowner, and may not be back...

Hunt in Northern Hardeman County, on the Red River, and never got a chance at a bruiser. Saw lots of pics, but mostly at night. Seems like most activity was very early season.

A good friend owns a place on the Pease on the Foard/Hardeman line. They killed two pretty nice bucks this year and tons of hogs. There's a good chance my group will be hunting a place in Hardeman next year, but further to the west.

On the Pease in Cottle right out of Cee Vee, we had a little luck but not any monsters. Killed 2 bucks in the 120's but that is it. It is our first year up there and it is a little different than what we are used to.
