Here's the scoop my friend down in Fla won a Hog hunt with huntinghogshunting and my hunting parthner and I decided to visit him for a hunt down there, but I want to stay for another week and possibly hog hunt somewhere else and maybe even an exotic hunt. Im looking at hunting between Houston to San Antonio. Maybe even as far down as Victoria over towards Laredo, and on a post I made at Texas Boars someone put a link up to this site so here I am.
Doesnt look like that huntinghogs place is any good or possibly legit, but whatever, so my question is my friend has never hunted outside of Alaska and I'd like to find some hogs can any of you rccomend a decent Ranch etc... You know even tho we will fly into Houston as of now driving anywhere in Texas I can do it in a day or less so I'll keep my options open on where to go. I do appreciate any help from you folks. Thanks Daniel

You might want to check out www.wildhoghunttexas.com , they are located in Gonzales, Texas. It's a 300 high fence but still a very challenging hunt. Lots of wooded area, creek bottoms and lots of hog. Food was great and sleeping accommodations were bunk house style.
