Haha, you don't need feet! Get the thick polartec fleece. I have a set, and I absolutely love it. I'm sure it was expensive (present) but worth everypenny. Very light, but super warm.

I was nice and toasty this morning in 16-degrees. Smartwool long underwear, polypro over that, fleece pants over that, Cabela's 1200Ti Waders. Two pair of Smartwool socks and some of those footwarmers insoles in the boots. On top, thick polypro, fleece, hollofil jacket and waterfowling jacket over that. Wool balaclava and fleece hat.
It's very doable, but yes, it takes a lot of layers.

My feet are almost always cold and yesterday they were not. I'm crediting the footwarmers. They were maybe $3.50. Best money spent for the cold hunt. I just wish they came in sizes. They look like a size six for ladies and I wear a 12. Slide them all the way down to your toes.

Never heard of a foot warmer, might need to locate some before morning! You stuff them in your socks or waders or what?

You attach the warmers to the bottom of your socks. The instructions state to not let it touch bare skin. I have used these on 2 different trips, and if you do not let them sit in open air for 5-10mins after opening they will never get hot. They react with oxygen.

These are the ones I used: Foot Warmers It does take a minute or two in the air to get them kicked off.

If money were not an object I would get these: Electric foot warmers Not complaining. I was nice and warm. But just imagine the fun of it being zero degrees, you are warm and content, your buddy is freezing his b@lls off, and you are just looking at him asking "What's wrong, you a little cold over there?", while his teeth are chattering. Heck that might be worth the money ! Seriously though, the guys up North have to have some other tricks to keeping the feet warm. That goes a loooong way for me.
