Hunt on Catfish creek northwest of Tennessee Colony. Lots of deer, if you plant something for them to eat this time of year. Hogs are a major problem.....they are tough on the food plots.

You found this on Craigs list right?? I saw the same ad!

It sounds good, but I hunted 2 leases in Anderson County for 3 years and saw more poachers than deer!

We kill 50 to 60 a year off of 600 acres and it seems to have no effect on the population. Corn seems to just draw more pigs. We have better luck hunting the food plots.

I've hunted outside of Elkhart for the past 4 years. The whole time I've seen 2 good bucks. This year I saw a 4 and a 6 point several does and hogs and I hunted almost every weekend. This was my last season to hunt East Texas.

East Texas can be tough, but under the right conditions, it can be real good. Check the record books.

I hunt in Anderson between Palestine and Jacksonville off 79. Lots of pigs, lots of loggers that like to wander where they shouldn't. But I have fun, I just always carry some heat.
