Kind of a survey. Right now we offer our low fence hunts as a combo hunt. One wt and one mulie buck, 5 days 4 nights, meals lodging, ect ect ect I have thought that splitting the hunt and going mulie hunt only during mule deer season, is the best way. Another words for 2 weeks of mule deer season run only mule deer buck hunts. The wt hunts can still be done before or after...........but only as wt buck hunts. Kinda spinning my wheels and looking for some input. The packages would just have to be changed up, but would still be all inclusive ect.

You could try it to see how it works out. I kinda like the idea of a whitetail and mulie mixed. But some folks may only want to target one or the other

I think that the option to take a mulie or whitetail is a huge selling point, that should help sell more hunts. Not many places in Texas to hunt ONE property and possibly harvest a trophy from each. Just My Opinion though!
My vote: Don't split

While I personally would prefer a Mulie-only hunt (since I have good, free whitetail hunting here in the Hill Country), asssuming that would be less expensive than the combo, I agree that more people would see the combo hunt as a selling point.

My vote: Don't split x2 I sell hunts on my ranch also. I think you have something that is rare by offering the combo hunt. Good luck which ever way you decide to go.

I can't say it's a lot of folks, but I have at least a handful who come through here only to go mule deer hunting. I don't know if they have wt leases elsewhere.
The guy I guided for had seperate mulie and wt hunts, they were done miles apart.
In my mind, the biggest question would be, "Can I book enough mulie hunts to fill the two weeks?" If you can book the whole season, why not? Wt guys could be moved either before or after.

You better come up with a plan of action on what you are going to do when you are conducting a mule deer hunt and the first buck you see is a giant whitetail, because you know that is going to happen.

I don't know when (if?) I'll be able to afford one of your hunts, but if I can, I want the combination hunt. My vote, don't split 'em!

I would want the option. If I was MD hunting and a bad azz WT came out..... That way you get money either way and your customer is happy
