I am a crappie fisherman by chance, and a quail hunter by heart. As I also have a home in Kansas, I go there several times a year to hunt quail and pheasant, but man, it's a long drive. I don't have anywhere in TX to hunt quail or pheasant. So if you've got that place to hunt and just can't wait to go crappie fishing.....it's a match made in heaven. Contact me and let's talk.

You can tag with me Guy one weekend....no strings attached. The deal is quail is like crappie you keep only what you catch or in this case kill!!!! We'll go sometime in January. We'll do some varmint hunting at night also.

Count me in Mike. I dearly love to quail hunt. You name the time and place and I'll be there waiting on you......that is if you don't mind hunting with a guy that shoots either a 410, 28 or 20 gauge .

As long as you can hit them I don't care if you shoot your jigs at them. My father in law and I hunt a bunch around Sweetwater. We generally start heavy in January after the holidays. We've got several good small tracts we hunt. They were thick last year I can't imagine this year being much better.

Bradbury you need quail dogs, not duck dogs. If somebody has a good guail dog, I got a place. We will be hunting quail after deer season but need a dog the area is to thick with under cover.

My uncle, cousin and a close family friend all have good pointers. We love to quail hunt. We also have a couple of hundred birds we are trying to sell. I am the president of our local Quail Unlimited chapter. Maybe we can get a hunt going.

I've got a brit that is a hunting machine. Unfortunately he only gets to hunt a few times each yr. I'd be interested in just handling him and let others do the shootin'. jerry
