Turn the waders inside out and search for the hole.
Most waders come with a repair kit when bought. If you don't have the kit, you can pick one up at BPS, Cabela's, Academy, Gander, ETC.
Fairly simple to patch hole. The kit will have the instruction on what to do. Good luck

Is the hole around the handwarmer really an issue? I would probably never know if I did.

Mine are doing the same. I've got several little spots. Every time I fix one, a new one pops up. I afraid that is all I will get done is chasing holes. I'll be purchasing new ones when the big sales start up.

So you're standing in water over your belly button? Wow. Aquaseal will fix many things, but eventually you just have to get a new pair. I've been nursing this pair along since 2004, it's more aquaseal than it is neoprene, but a pesky hole from flexing in the boot on the back of my left ankle is just too much. Haven't found a patch that will hold up to the flex everytime I walk.
Just waiting to find a new pair on sale after season.
Oh yeah, and the best way to find holes is to fill your waders up with water, and see where it comes out. Make sure that you have time to dry them out before your next hunt.

Go to WalMart and buy yourself a tube or 2 of Weld. The stuff is magical. Pour some on, let it self level and when dry it will never leak there again. I even sealed a small hole in my boat with the stuff!!
Why the hell should I have to press 1 for English!!??

I even sealed a small hole in my boat with the stuff!! x2, normally you get 2 tubes for $5,one really big tube, and a smaller one.. QA posted about this stuff a few years ago, I been using it ever since. Aquaseal is probably better, but that stuff is so expensive it is just not worth it.

The big tube is 4 oz, not sure how big the smaller tube is. Aquaseal, $7 for a 3/4 oz tube. That stuff is good, but not that good.

Yeah, for ¾ of an oz, that $10.50 per oz. Welder is about $1.20 per oz.

I gotcha, the other tube is bigger. Is welder a clear flexible thing like aquaseal? I'll do anything for a dry left foot.

It is not as clear as aquaseal or as flexable, but for holes it works great, here is a crappy repair job I did with it, I just gob it on.. You can see several holes there, some new ones and old ones. Once it goes on, it will not come off.

Once it goes on, it will not come off. That's the important part. This one hole is the only one that aquaseal hasn't fixed for me, and it's just beacuse of the high flex. My boot wrinkles right in the back, as they are a little too big. Got the king size waders on sale. Haha. They have far outlived their life expectancy, just a few more weeks and I can get some new ones.

Repairs on holes like I show above, it works great, it will never leak there again. I have tried to repair leaks when leaking at the seam, and that does not last. So once it leaks from the seam, I just get a new pair.

Ha, now the seam leak is an aquaseal special. I have a seam leak from 4 years ago that the aquaseal is still holding on. In the crotch too! Looks like they need a dual pronged attack with aquaseal and weld.

My guess is you slow down the leak, but not stop it for good. What do you do seal all the seams? There is a big difference between poking a hole in your waders and repairing the hole vs leaking at the seam for no reason. Once waders start leaking at the seam, then the waders are old and defective.
