I've never really hunted in winter weather, so I was just wondering from others experiences on how this nasty weather expected in the am might affect hunting?

I think I'm going to wait until the sun comes up, and do a midday hunt tomorrow. I've always thought about it, but never gone through with it.

That's probably a good idea, considering the rain that's coming through.

I've had some great hunts in nasty conditions. I've also been skunked and froze my nutz off.

I'm about to head to the river now to do some scouting. I'm hoping the wind won't be bad down in there, but if it is I'm not taking any chances.
