I'm going to act like I know nothing; which actually I don't know much. I do have a couple of muzzleloaders but if you were going to buy one (with a scope)strictly for Deer hunting in .50 cal. not one of those that shoots everything; what would you buy if you were spending up to $1,000.00 ?
Oh yea; I like shooting the T/C Maxi-hunters.

The Savage is used and comes with what person said nice Weaver. I didn't ask what kind of Weaver. Has a very nice Laminated Stock, blued barrel, shoulder strap and ???? I have a Bushnell 3-9 x 50mm Dawn-Dusk I will swap out if not pleased with the Weaver. He is sending me the loads etc. he has shot a 1 1/2" group at 100 yds. ????????
We'll see when a Deer walks in front of it.

Blessings
Gerald
