Decided to try the public hunting place out this morning and after a skunk (0,NADA), while loading the boat up on trailer had a snake in the boat. It was 12" long and brite green, a neon green looking snake. Any clue as to what kind it was? It was solid bright green with no markings. If it was 2 feet I would have crapped me drawers.

It was not that dark of a snake in the link. I am not kidding it was neon green.

We have those green snakes all over where I grew up in the Hill Country the get to about two to two and a half feet. We still catch them when I go back home. They bite but you can hardly feel it. Maybe it's the same kind, we call them green tree snakes.

Yeah I have seen those around NE texas, always called em grass snaes. Long and skinny, you could pick em up if you wanted to. Better make sure its the right one though.

We were up on the Red river one time...my buddy Brian kills this water moccison, (so we thought) and thought that it was be a good idea to put it in the boat and take it back to the truck...

After we got the decoys picked up...we went to get in the boat and the snake had (come back to life) and slithered off the seat and under the plywood!

Talk about disassembling the boat on location!!!

Tip of the Day....
Don't put ANY snake in a vehicle or boat you are about to get into!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!
