Hey guys. It's good to back from the split, although I have yet to shoot a duck in 2 hunts. I have a few questions for you guys, who have always been so helpful.
1. I am going to see my folks next week in Corpus Christi and want to get in a duck hunt. I have hunted the coast once, and would like to pick someone's brain on a few locations I have in mind and questions that pertain to coastal hunting. I'm not looking for any specific spots or anything, just trying to confirm some stuff. If anyone is willing to help, please pm me.
2. I am setting up a goose hunt for the guys at work. We're looking at going to the El Campo area. Does anyone have a guide or 2 they can recommend?
Thanks again for the help. Hope everyone has a good Christmas.
Danny

Do you have a boat for the coast? That will change some of the options..

You're welcome to drive up the road about 60 miles to hunt next weekend if you can't find a spot down there. To be honest there's not just one spot to go to. You pretty much need to get out and drive the day before and scout. You could take 35 north out corpus and take a left on 136 towards bayside. There's numerous marshes to hunt, just take your pick.

Thanks for all the help. It seems like most people have recommended 2 guides, so I will have to see when they have openings.
Also, to answer the question, I don't have a boat, so I will be walking in. If anyone wouldn't mind an extra hunter/decoy carrier/retriever (me, not a dog) on Tues. or Wed., somewhere on the middle coast, pm me. I'd be more than willing to spring for some lunch/breakfast/gas money/etc. Thanks.
