Would like to know how the hunting is there might be looking for a place there soon.

Like most places in the hill country it depends on the neighbors. You can have a lot of deer or next to none. It all depends on what everyone does. Make sure you check it out real good first.

Howdy new neighbor!

I hunt (and live) just NW of Boerne (about 15 miles south of Comfort) and the deer are THICK here. About equal number of Axis and Whitetail-I mostly hunt Axis (more of a challenge plus the family much prefers them on the table)....I fish a lot near comfort on the Guadelupe river and the deer seem to be very numerous there as well.

Where is the best place to look for a Ranch? I will be there after the first of the year are there and good places for sale and how much an AC are they running around there.

I recently looked at a 10 acre "ranchette" with a three-bedroom two bath and outbuildings about 8 miles east of comfort. It was listed at 169k....

That will be pricey in this area-mainly I think due to the proximity to San Antonio (straight 30 mile shot down I-10). The further from the interstate the better the price.
