MY FEMALE BLACK LAB HAS BEEN THROUGH 5 MONTS PLUS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING. SHE DOES IT ALL EXCEPT BLIND RETRIEVES, BUT HAS STARTED BRINGING BACK THE BIRD AND STOPPING AND PLAYING WITH IT. THIS BUMPED HER OUT OF HER JUNIOR TITLE LAST WEEKEND. ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION ON HOW TO OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM ?

Do you train with real birds? Does she do this in training?

Force Fetch would be a start. Was she FF? If not that will cure it right up. If she has been then you need to go back to the basics of FF and reiterate some things.

I'd take her back to the trianer.
